Show Me Your Wardrobe Aila Wang (Alexander Wang's niece of course)

Happy New Year!

I couldn't resist starting the year with the gorgeous pint-sized Aila. Wish I had the pleasure of shooting her myself but alas these are all photos from various blogs so a big thank you to all the street style photographers that took these. She is fantastic no?

Enjoy.

she is adorable. no doubt.
but she's a kid! why would you dress her in big furs and stiff leather instead of comfortable stuff she can actually run around and play in?! Let alone take her to fashion shows...

She looks kinda comfortable to me! And so cute....

I wasn't talking about her being comfortable or not. She does look comfortable, yes. Well, in the first picture not really. But maybe it was simply taken at a wrong moment. Wasn't there. Can't tell.

I just think that kids in her age shouldn't go to fashion shows, all eyes and lenses on them. They should spend the day playing with friends, spending time at the playground and not caring about whether the 1000$ croc leather dress gets dirty or not.

But as I said, she is adorable and the two outfits with the beanies are awesome!

Au secours...elle est habillée comme une adulte. On dirait une poupée qu'on donne en pâture !

Kids can be really cute, in fact all of them are in a different way, or just are! But I believe that childhood goes with innocence. And believe it or not, a child does realize at a very young age that the clothes it's wearing are expensive, or special, or like mama's clothes... and that cannot be healthy...sorry, but as a mother I don't like this. I think you can buy clothes to your kid that are "for kids", not mama's little copy.

Such a cutie. And not a ridiculously dressed up peacock, like 3/4 of FW attendees! ELL x

She's adorable, such lovely pictures!
I think it's fine to dress kids in nice clothes but still remembering to let them be kids!
